The BLOCK Research Group announces the release of RhinoVAULT v1.0, the TNA-based funicular form-finding plug-in for Rhinoceros. The new, again free version comes with additional features and a much faster solver. Besides many bug-fixes, the plug-in features new tools for a more
interactive and intuitive form finding of funicular structures.
The plug-in emerged from current research on structural form finding
using the Thrust Network Approach to intuitively create and explore
compression-only structures. We are constantly working on new techniques
and methods, which eventually will be implemented in future releases of
this digital design tool.
